19 People will (A)go into caves of the rocks And into holes in the [a]ground Away from the terror of the Lord And the splendor of His majesty, When He arises (B)to terrify the earth.
19 (A)The earth is broken apart, The earth is (B)split through, The earth is shaken violently. 20 The earth (C)trembles like a heavy drinker And sways like a hut, For its (D)wrongdoing is heavy upon it, And it will fall, (E)never to rise again.
4 And (A)all the heavenly [a]lights will [b]wear away, And the (B)sky will be rolled up like a scroll; All its [c]lights will also wither away As a leaf withers from the vine, Or as one withers from the fig tree.
6 (A)Raise your eyes to the sky, Then look to the earth beneath; For the (B)sky will vanish like smoke, And the (C)earth will wear out like a garment And its inhabitants will die [a]in the same way. But My (D)salvation will be forever, And My righteousness will not fail.
7 And when I(A)extinguish you, I will (B)cover the heavens and darken their (C)stars; I will cover the (D)sun with a cloud And the moon will not give its light.
30 I will [a](A)display wonders in the sky and on the earth, Blood, fire, and columns of smoke. 31 The (B)sun will be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the (C)great and awesome day of the Lord comes.
6 For this is what the Lord of armies says: ‘(A)Once more [a]in a (B)little while, I am going to (C)shake the heavens and the earth, the sea also and the dry land.
6 On that day there will be (A)no light; the [a]luminaries will die out.7 For it will be (B)a unique day which is (C)known to the Lord, neither day nor night, but it will come about that at the (D)time of evening there will be light.
29 “But immediately after the (A)tribulation of those days (B)the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and(C)the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
12 And I looked when He broke the sixth seal, and there was a great (A)earthquake; and the (B)sun became as black as (C)sackcloth made of hair, and the whole moon became like blood;
5 Then the angel [a]took the [b]censer and (A)filled it with the fire of the altar, and (B)hurled it to the earth; and there were (C)peals of thunder and sounds, and flashes of lightning and an (D)earthquake.
12 The fourth angel sounded, and a (A)third of the (B)sun, a third of the (C)moon, and a (D)third of the (E)stars were struck, so that a (F)third of them would be darkened and the day would not shine for a (G)third of it, and the night in the same way.
13 And [a]at that time there was a great (A)earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell; [b]seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the rest were terrified and (B)gave glory to the (C)God of heaven.
19 And (A)the [a]temple of God which is in heaven was opened; and (B)the ark of His covenant appeared in His [b]temple, and there were flashes of (C)lightning and sounds and peals of thunder, and an earthquake, and a (D)great [c]hailstorm.
18 And there were flashes of (A)lightning and sounds and peals of thunder; and there was (B)a great earthquake, (C)such as there had not been since mankind came to be upon the earth, so great an earthquake was it, and so mighty.
