With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee earnestly: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness. 10 Let favor be showed to the wicked, yet will he not learn righteousness; in the land of uprightness will he deal wrongfully, and will not behold the majesty of Jehovah.

11 Jehovah, thy hand is lifted up, yet they see not: but they shall see [a]thy zeal for the people, and be put to shame; yea, [b]fire shall devour thine adversaries.

When your judgments(C) come upon the earth,

10 But when grace is shown to the wicked,(E)
    they do not learn righteousness;
even in a land of uprightness they go on doing evil(F)
    and do not regard(G) the majesty of the Lord.
11 Lord, your hand is lifted high,(H)
    but they do not see(I) it.
Let them see your zeal(J) for your people and be put to shame;(K)
