⁴ Say to those with an ^(A)anxious heart,
“Be strong, fear not.
Behold, your God will come with ^(B)vengeance;
The ^(C)recompense of God will come,
But He will ^(D)save you.”

“Even the ^(A)captives of the mighty man will be taken away,
And the prey of the tyrant will be granted escape;
For I will contend with the one who contends with you,
And I will ^(B)save your sons.
²⁶ I will feed ^(C)those who mistreat you with their ^(D)own flesh,
And they will become drunk with their own blood as with sweet wine;
And ^(E)all flesh will know that I, Yahweh, am your ^(F)Savior
And your ^(G)Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.”
