14 for all the towering mountains
    and all the high hills,(A)
15 for every lofty tower(B)
    and every fortified wall,(C)
16 for every trading ship[a](D)
    and every stately vessel.
17 The arrogance of man will be brought low(E)
    and human pride humbled;(F)
the Lord alone will be exalted in that day,(G)
18     and the idols(H) will totally disappear.(I)

19 People will flee to caves(J) in the rocks
    and to holes in the ground(K)
from the fearful presence(L) of the Lord
    and the splendor of his majesty,(M)
    when he rises to shake the earth.(N)
