Isaiah 13:5-7

New International Version

⁵ They come from faraway lands,
    from the ends of the heavens^(A)—
the Lord and the weapons^(B) of his wrath^(C)—
    to destroy^(D) the whole country.

⁶ Wail,^(E) for the day^(F) of the Lord is near;
    it will come like destruction^(G) from the Almighty.^[a](H)
7 Because of this, all hands will go limp,^(I)
    every heart will melt with fear.^(J)
