New American Standard Bible

5 They are coming from a distant country,
From the [a](A)farthest horizons,
The Lord and the weapons of His (B)indignation,
To (C)destroy the whole land.

Judgment on the Day of the Lord

6 Wail, for the (D)day of the Lord is near!
It will come as (E)destruction from [b]the Almighty.
7 Therefore (F)all hands will fall limp,
And every human (G)heart will melt.
