¹¹ Thus I will ^(A)punish the world for its evil
And the ^(B)wicked for their iniquity;
I will also put an end to the ^(C)pride of the arrogant
And bring low the ^(D)lofty pride of the ^[a](E)ruthless.

¹³ Therefore this ^(A)iniquity will be to you
Like a ^(B)breach about to fall,
A bulge in a high wall,
Whose breaking comes ^(C)suddenly in an instant,
¹⁴ Whose breaking is like the breaking of a ^(D)potter’s jar,
^[a]So ruthlessly shattered
That a potsherd will not be found among its pieces
To ^[b]take fire from a hearth
Or to scoop water from a cistern.”
