¹⁶ And there will be a ^(A)highway from Assyria
For the ^(B)remnant of His people who will remain,
Just as there was for Israel
In ^(C)the day that they came up out of the land of Egypt.

“^(B)Prepare the way for Yahweh in the wilderness;
Make smooth in the desert a highway for our God.

¹⁰ Go through, ^(A)go through the gates,
Clear the way ^[a]for the people;
^(B)Build up, build up the ^(C)highway,
Remove the stones, raise up a ^(D)standard over the peoples.
