9 “Is not (A)Calno like (B)Carchemish,
Or (C)Hamath like Arpad,
Or (D)Samaria like (E)Damascus?
10 “As my hand has reached to the (F)kingdoms of the idols,
Whose graven images were greater than those of Jerusalem and Samaria,
11 Shall I not [a]do to Jerusalem and her images
Just as I have done to Samaria and (G)her idols?”

And when have they (D)delivered Samaria from my hand? 20 Who among all the (E)gods of these lands have delivered their land from my hand, that the (F)Lord would deliver Jerusalem from my hand?’”
