21 A remnant of them will return to the mighty God. 22 But though Israel be now as many as the sands along the shore, yet only a few of them will be left to return at that time; God has rightly decided to destroy his people. 23 Yes, it has already been decided by the Lord God to consume them.

21 A remnant(A) will return,[a](B) a remnant of Jacob
will return to the Mighty God.(C)
22 Though your people be like the sand(D) by the sea, Israel,
only a remnant will return.(E)
Destruction has been decreed,(F)
overwhelming and righteous.
23 The Lord, the Lord Almighty, will carry out
the destruction decreed(G) upon the whole land.(H)
