¹⁶ “^(A)Wash yourselves, ^(B)purify yourselves;
^(C)Remove the evil of your deeds from before My eyes.
^(D)Cease to do evil,
¹⁷ Learn to do good;
^(E)Seek justice,
Reprove the ruthless,
^(F)Execute justice for the ^[a]orphan,
Plead for the widow.

¹⁸ “Come now, and ^(G)let us reason together,”
Says Yahweh,
“^(H)Though your sins are as scarlet,
They will be as white as snow;
Though they are red like crimson,
They will be like wool.
^19 (I)If you are willing and obey,
You will ^(J)eat the best of the land;
²⁰ But if you refuse and rebel,
You will be ^(K)eaten by the sword.”
For ^(L)the mouth of Yahweh has spoken.
