¹⁴ “I hate your new moon festivals and your ^(A)appointed feasts,
They have become a burden to Me;
I am ^(B)weary of bearing them.

¹² Their banquets are accompanied by lyre and ^(A)harp, by tambourine and flute, and by wine;
But they ^(B)do not pay attention to the deeds of the Lord,
Nor do they consider the work of His hands.

“Because ^(A)this people draw near with their ^[a]words
And honor Me with their ^[b]lip service,
But they remove their hearts far from Me,
And their ^[c]reverence for Me ^[d]consists of ^[e]tradition learned by rote,
