Okwebaza Mukama olw’Obulokozi bwe
12 (A)Ku lunaku olwo oligamba nti,
“Nnaakwebazanga ayi Mukama Katonda;
newaakubadde nga wansunguwalira,
obusungu bwo bwaggwaawo era onzizizzaamu amaanyi.
2 (B)Laba Katonda bwe bulokozi bwange;
nzija kumwesiga era siritya;
kubanga Mukama Katonda ge maanyi gange era lwe luyimba lwange,
era afuuse obulokozi bwange.”
3 (C)Munaasenanga n’essanyu amazzi
okuva mu nzizi ez’obulokozi.
4 (D)Era ku lunaku olwo mulyogera nti,
“Mwebaze Mukama Katonda, mukoowoole erinnya lye,
mubuulire ebikolwa bye mu mawanga,
mwogere nti erinnya lye ligulumizibwe.
5 (E)Mumuyimbire Mukama Katonda ettendo kubanga akoze eby’ettendo;
muleke kino kimanyibwe mu mawanga gonna.
6 (F)Leekaana n’eddoboozi ery’omwanguka oyimbe n’essanyu ggwe omuntu w’omu Sayuuni,
kubanga Omutukuvu wa Isirayiri ali wakati mu ggwe mukulu.”

12 And thou shalt say in that day, Lord, I shall acknowledge to thee, for thou were wroth to me; thy strong vengeance is turned, and thou hast comforted me. (And thou shalt say on that day, Lord, I shall praise thee, for though thou were angry with me, now thy strong vengeance is turned away, and thou hast comforted me.)
2 Lo! God is my saviour, I shall do faithfully, and I shall not dread. For why the Lord is my strength and my praising, and he is made to me into health. (Lo! God is my Saviour, I shall do faithfully, and I shall not fear. For the Lord is my strength and my praising, and he is my deliverance, or my salvation.)
3 Ye shall draw waters with joy of the wells of the saviour. (Yea, with joy, ye shall draw water from the wells of salvation.)
4 And ye shall say in that day, Acknowledge ye to the Lord, and call ye his name into help; make ye known his findings among peoples; have ye mind, that his name is high. (And ye shall say on that day, Praise ye the Lord, and call ye on his name for help/and call ye his name for help; make ye known his deeds among the peoples; remember that his name is the highest of all.)
5 Sing ye to the Lord, for he hath done worshipfully (for he hath done honourably/for he hath done magnificently); tell ye this [out] in all [the] earth.
6 Thou dwelling of Zion, make full out joy, and praise; for why the Holy of Israel is great in the midst of thee. (O inhabitants of Zion, rejoice, and praise ye; for the great Holy One of Israel is in thy midst.)

Songs of Praise
12 In that day(A) you will say:
“I will praise(B) you, Lord.
Although you were angry with me,
your anger has turned away(C)
and you have comforted(D) me.
2 Surely God is my salvation;(E)
I will trust(F) and not be afraid.
The Lord, the Lord himself,(G) is my strength(H) and my defense[a];
he has become my salvation.(I)”
3 With joy you will draw water(J)
from the wells(K) of salvation.
4 In that day(L) you will say:
“Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name;(M)
make known among the nations(N) what he has done,
and proclaim that his name is exalted.(O)
5 Sing(P) to the Lord, for he has done glorious things;(Q)
let this be known to all the world.
6 Shout aloud and sing for joy,(R) people of Zion,
for great(S) is the Holy One of Israel(T) among you.(U)”

12 At that time you will say,
“I will praise you, O Yahweh.
Although you had been angry with me,
you turned your anger away from me, and you comforted me.
2 Look! El is my Savior.
I am confident and unafraid,
because Yah is my strength and my song.
He is my Savior.”
3 With joy you will draw water from the springs of salvation.
4 At that time you will say,
“Praise Yahweh.
Call on his name.
Make his deeds known among the nations.
Make them remember that his name is highly honored.
5 Make music to praise Yahweh.
He has done wonderful things.
Let this be known throughout the earth.
6 Shout loudly, and sing with joy, people of Zion!
Qedosh Yisrael is great. He is among you.”
