²¹ For look! Yahweh is about to come out from his place
    to punish the iniquity of the inhabitants^[a] of the earth against him,
and the earth will disclose her blood
    and will no longer cover her slain.

³⁵ “May the violence done to me and to my flesh be on Babylon,”
    the inhabitants^[a] of Zion will say;
and “My blood be upon the inhabitants of Chaldea,”
    Jerusalem will say.
