¹⁴ Then He will become a ^(A)sanctuary;
But to both houses of Israel, He will be a ^(B)stone of stumbling and a rock ^[a]of offense,
And a snare and a ^(C)trap for the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

“^(A)Behold, I am laying a stone in Zion, a tested ^(B)stone,
A precious cornerstone for the foundation, ^[b]firmly placed.
The one who believes in it will not be ^[c]disturbed.
