Isaiah 6:8-10
English Standard Version
Isaiah's Commission from the Lord
8 And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for (A)us?” Then I said, “Here I am! Send me.” 9 And he said, “Go, and say to this people:
(B)“‘Keep on hearing,[a] but do not understand;
keep on seeing,[b] but do not perceive.’
10 (C)Make the heart of this people (D)dull,[c]
and their ears heavy,
and blind their eyes;
(E)lest they see with their eyes,
and hear with their ears,
and understand with their hearts,
and turn and be healed.”

English Standard Version
25 And disagreeing among themselves, they departed after Paul had made one statement: (A)“The Holy Spirit was right in saying to your fathers through Isaiah the prophet:
26 (B)“‘Go to this people, and say,
(C)“You will indeed hear but never understand,
and you will indeed see but never perceive.”
27 (D)For this people's heart has grown dull,
and with their ears they can barely hear,
and their eyes they have closed;
lest they should see with their eyes
and hear with their ears
and understand with their heart
and (E)turn, and I would heal them.’
