¹⁴ Therefore, the LORD will cut off head and tail from Israel, branch and rush, in one day.

¹⁵ To the ancient and the honorable man, He is the head. And to the prophet who teaches lies, He is the tail.

³³ Behold, the LORD God of Hosts shall cut off the bough with terror. And they of high stature shall be cut off. And the high shall be humbled.

³⁴ And He shall cut away the thick places of the forest with iron. And Lebanon shall have a mighty fall.
