²⁴ “And they shall go out and look on the dead bodies of the men who have rebelled against me. For ^(A)their worm shall not die, ^(B)their fire shall not be quenched, and they shall be an abhorrence to all flesh.”

¹⁰ he also will drink ^(A)the wine of God's wrath, ^(B)poured full strength into the cup of his anger, and ^(C)he will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. ¹¹ And ^(D)the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever, and ^(E)they have no rest, day or night, these ^(F)worshipers of the beast and its image, and whoever receives the mark of its name.”

^43 (A)And if your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life crippled than with two hands to go to ^(B)hell,^[a] to ^(C)the unquenchable fire.^{[b] 45 (D)}And if your foot causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life lame than with two feet to be thrown into ^(E)hell. ^47 (F)And if your eye causes you to sin, tear it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than with two eyes to be thrown into ^(G)hell, ⁴⁸ ‘where ^(H)their worm does not die and the fire is not quenched.’ ⁴⁹ For everyone will be salted with fire.^[c]

¹² His ^(A)winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will clear his threshing floor and ^(B)gather his wheat into the barn, ^(C)but the chaff he will burn with ^(D)unquenchable fire.”

² And many of those who ^(A)sleep in ^(B)the dust of the earth shall ^(C)awake, ^(D)some to everlasting life, and ^(E)some to shame and everlasting contempt.

^8 (A)But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, ^(B)their portion will be in ^(C)the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is ^(D)the second death.”

¹⁷ Then I saw an angel standing in the sun, and with a loud voice he called to ^(A)all the birds that fly directly overhead, ^(B)“Come, gather for ^(C)the great supper of God, ^18 (D)to eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and their riders, and the flesh of all men, both free and slave,^[a] both small and great.” ¹⁹ And I saw ^(E)the beast and the kings of the earth with their armies ^(F)gathered to make war against him who was sitting on the horse and against his army. ²⁰ And the beast was captured, and with it ^(G)the false prophet ^(H)who in its presence^[b] had done the signs by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who ^(I)worshiped its image. These two were ^(J)thrown alive into the lake of ^(K)fire that burns with sulfur. ²¹ And the rest were slain by the sword ^(L)that came from the mouth of him who was sitting on the horse, and ^(M)all the birds were gorged with their flesh.

^15 (A)who killed both the Lord Jesus and ^(B)the prophets, and drove us out, and displease God and ^(C)oppose all mankind ^16 (D)by hindering us from speaking to the Gentiles that they might be saved—so as always ^(E)to fill up the measure of their sins. But ^(F)wrath has come upon them at last!^[a]
