The Lord will judge all flesh;
And the slain of the Lord shall be (B)many.

21 I will (A)call for (B)a sword against Gog throughout all My mountains,” says the Lord God. (C)“Every man’s sword will be against his brother. 22 And I will (D)bring him to judgment with (E)pestilence and bloodshed; (F)I will rain down on him, on his troops, and on the many peoples who are with him, flooding rain, (G)great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.

and I will (A)turn you around and lead you on, (B)bringing you up from the far north, and bring you against the mountains of Israel. Then I will knock the bow out of your left hand, and cause the arrows to fall out of your right hand. (C)You shall [a]fall upon the mountains of Israel, you and all your troops and the peoples who are with you; (D)I will give you to birds of prey of every sort and to the beasts of the field to be devoured. You shall [b]fall on [c]the open field; for I have spoken,” says the Lord God. (E)“And I will send fire on Magog and on those who live [d]in security in (F)the coastlands. Then they shall know that I am the Lord. (G)So I will make My holy name known in the midst of My people Israel, and I will not let them (H)profane My holy name anymore. (I)Then the nations shall know that I am the Lord, the Holy One in Israel. (J)Surely it is coming, and it shall be done,” says the Lord God. “This is the day (K)of which I have spoken.

“Then those who dwell in the cities of Israel will go out and set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and bucklers, the bows and arrows, the [e]javelins and spears; and they will make fires with them for seven years. 10 They will not take wood from the field nor cut down any from the forests, because they will make fires with the weapons; (L)and they will plunder those who plundered them, and pillage those who pillaged them,” says the Lord God.

Christ on a White Horse

11 (A)Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, (B)a white horse. And He who sat on him was called (C)Faithful and True, and (D)in righteousness He judges and makes war. 12 (E)His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. (F)He [a]had a name written that no one knew except Himself. 13 (G)He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called (H)The Word of God. 14 (I)And the armies in heaven, (J)clothed in [b]fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. 15 Now (K)out of His mouth goes a [c]sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And (L)He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. (M)He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 16 And (N)He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written:

(O)KING OF KINGS AND
LORD OF LORDS.

The Beast and His Armies Defeated

17 Then I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of heaven, (P)“Come and gather together for the [d]supper of the great God, 18 (Q)that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all people, [e]free and slave, both small and great.”

19 (R)And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army. 20 (S)Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and (T)those who worshiped his image. (U)These two were cast alive into the lake of fire (V)burning with brimstone. 21 And the rest (W)were killed with the sword which proceeded from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse. (X)And all the birds (Y)were filled with their flesh.

Israel Will Be Restored

27 In that day the Lord with His severe sword, great and strong,
Will punish Leviathan the fleeing serpent,

“For (A)My sword shall be bathed in heaven;
Indeed it (B)shall come down on Edom,
And on the people of My curse, for judgment.
The (C)sword of the Lord is filled with blood,
It is made [a]overflowing with fatness,
With the blood of lambs and goats,
With the fat of the kidneys of rams.
For (D)the Lord has a sacrifice in Bozrah,
And a great slaughter in the land of Edom.
The wild oxen shall come down with them,
And the young bulls with the mighty bulls;
Their land shall be soaked with blood,
And their dust [b]saturated with fatness.”

For it is the day of the Lord’s (E)vengeance,
The year of recompense for the cause of Zion.
(F)Its streams shall be turned into pitch,
And its dust into brimstone;
Its land shall become burning pitch.
10 It shall not be quenched night or day;
(G)Its smoke shall ascend forever.
(H)From generation to generation it shall lie waste;
No one shall pass through it forever and ever.
