^40 (A)You shall therefore keep His statutes and His commandments which I command you today, that ^[a]it may go well with you and with your children after you, and that you may ^[b]prolong your days in the land which the Lord your God is giving you for all time.”

^12 (A)Though a sinner does evil a hundred times, and his days are prolonged, yet I surely know that ^(B)it will be well with those who fear God, who fear before Him. ¹³ But it will not be well with the wicked; nor will he prolong his days, which are as a shadow, because he does not fear before God.

⁵ But in accordance with your hardness and your ^[a]impenitent heart ^(A)you are ^[b]treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God, ⁶ who ^(B)“will render to each one according to his deeds”: ⁷ eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality; ⁸ but to those who are self-seeking and ^(C)do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness—indignation and wrath, ⁹ tribulation and anguish, on every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew ^(D)first and also of the ^[c]Greek;
