¹³ He is clothed in a robe dipped in^[a] blood, and his name is called The Word of God.^{(A) 14} And the armies of heaven, wearing fine linen, white and pure, were following him on white horses. ¹⁵ From his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations, and he will rule^[b] them with a scepter of iron; he will tread the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty.^(B)

¹⁹ So the angel swung his sickle over the earth and gathered the vintage of the earth, and he threw it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. ²⁰ And the winepress was trodden outside the city, and blood flowed from the winepress, as high as a horse’s bridle, for a distance of about one thousand six hundred stadia.^(A)

³ And you shall tread down the wicked, for they will be ashes under the soles of your feet, on the day when I act, says the Lord of hosts.^(A)

¹⁸ On that day, when Gog comes against the land of Israel, says the Lord God, my wrath shall be aroused.^{(A) 19} For in my jealousy and in my blazing wrath I declare: On that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel;^{(B) 20} the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and the animals of the field and all creeping things that creep on the ground and all humans who are on the face of the earth shall quake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the cliffs shall fall, and every wall shall tumble to the ground.^{(C) 21} I will summon the sword against Gog^[a] in^[b] all my mountains, says the Lord God; the swords of all will be against their comrades.^{(D) 22} With pestilence and bloodshed I will enter into judgment with him, and I will pour down torrential rains and hailstones, fire and sulfur upon him and his troops and the many peoples who are with him.^(E)
