¹² Who led them by the right hand of Moses,
^(A)With His glorious arm,
^(B)Dividing the water before them
To make for Himself an everlasting name,

^16 (A)Fear and dread will fall on them;
By the greatness of Your arm
They will be ^(B)as still as a stone,
Till Your people pass over, O Lord,
Till the people pass over
^(C)Whom You have purchased.

^13 (A)He divided the sea and caused them to pass through;
And ^(B)He made the waters stand up like a heap.

^13 (A)Instead of ^(B)the thorn shall come up the cypress tree,
And instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree;
And it shall be to the Lord ^(C)for a name,
For an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.”

^5 (A)What ails you, O sea, that you fled?
O Jordan, that you turned back?
⁶ O mountains, that you skipped like rams?
O little hills, like lambs?

80 Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel,
^(B)You who lead Joseph ^(C)like a flock;
You who dwell between the cherubim, ^(D)shine forth!

^11 (A)And You divided the sea before them,
So that they went through the midst of the sea on the dry land;
And their persecutors You threw into the deep,
^(B)As a stone into the mighty waters.
