62 For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent,
    and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest,
until her vindication shines out like the dawn
    and her salvation like a burning torch.^(A)

⁶ Upon your walls, O Jerusalem,
    I have posted sentinels;
all day and all night
    they shall never be silent.
You who remind the Lord,
    take no rest,^(A)
7 and give him no rest
    until he establishes Jerusalem
    and makes it renowned throughout the earth.^(B)

¹⁸ But the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn,
    which shines brighter and brighter until full day.^(A)

¹⁵ until a spirit from on high is poured out on us,
    and the wilderness becomes a fruitful field,
    and the fruitful field is deemed a forest.^(A)

¹⁶ Then justice will dwell in the wilderness
    and righteousness abide in the fruitful field.^(B)
17 The effect of righteousness will be peace,
    and the result of righteousness, quietness and trust forever.^(C)

¹³ You will rise up and have compassion on Zion,
    for it is time to favor it;
    the appointed time has come.^(A)
14 For your servants hold its stones dear
    and have pity on its dust.
¹⁵ The nations will fear the name of the Lord
    and all the kings of the earth your glory.^(B)
16 For the Lord will build up Zion;
    he will appear in his glory.^(C)

³⁰ for my eyes have seen your salvation,^(A)
31     which you have prepared in the presence of all peoples,
³² a light for revelation to the gentiles
    and for glory to your people Israel.”^(B)

⁵ I will bring near my deliverance swiftly;
    my salvation has gone out,
    and my arms will rule the peoples;
the coastlands wait for me,
    and for my arm they hope.^(A)
6 Lift up your eyes to the heavens
    and look at the earth beneath,
for the heavens will vanish like smoke,
    the earth will wear out like a garment,
    and those who live on it will die like gnats,^[a]
but my salvation will be forever,
    and my deliverance will never be ended.^(B)
