¹³ “The glory of Lebanon^(A) will come to you,
    the juniper, the fir and the cypress together,^(B)
to adorn my sanctuary;^(C)
    and I will glorify the place for my feet.^(D)

⁷ “Let us go to his dwelling place,^(A)
    let us worship at his footstool,^(B) saying,

⁶     his young shoots will grow.
His splendor will be like an olive tree,^(A)
    his fragrance like a cedar of Lebanon.^(B)
7 People will dwell again in his shade;^(C)
    they will flourish like the grain,
they will blossom^(D) like the vine—
    Israel’s fame will be like the wine^(E) of Lebanon.^(F)

“Heaven is my throne,^(A)
    and the earth is my footstool.^(B)
Where is the house^(C) you will build for me?
    Where will my resting place be?

¹³ Instead of the thornbush will grow the juniper,
    and instead of briers^(A) the myrtle^(B) will grow.
This will be for the Lord’s renown,^(C)
    for an everlasting sign,
    that will endure forever.”

¹⁹ I will put in the desert^(A)
    the cedar and the acacia,^(B) the myrtle and the olive.
I will set junipers^(C) in the wasteland,
    the fir and the cypress^(D) together,^(E)
20 so that people may see and know,^(F)
    may consider and understand,^(G)
that the hand^(H) of the Lord has done this,
    that the Holy One^(I) of Israel has created^(J) it.

⁶ Splendor and majesty^(A) are before him;
    strength and glory^(B) are in his sanctuary.
