¹² And this shall be the plague with which the Lord will strike all the people who fought against Jerusalem:

The Nations Worship the King

¹⁶ And it shall come to pass that everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall ^(E)go up from year to year to ^(F)worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep ^(G)the Feast of Tabernacles. ^17 (H)And it shall be that whichever of the families of the earth do not come up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, on them there will be no rain. ¹⁸ If the family of ^(I)Egypt will not come up and enter in, ^(J)they shall have no rain; they shall receive the plague with which the Lord strikes the nations who do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. ¹⁹ This shall be the ^[b]punishment of Egypt and the punishment of all the nations that do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.

⁴⁴ And in the days of these kings ^(A)the God of heaven will set up a kingdom ^(B)which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; ^(C)it shall ^[a]break in pieces and ^[b]consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever. ^45 (D)Inasmuch as you saw that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it broke in pieces the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the gold—the great God has made known to the king what will come to pass after this. The dream is certain, and its interpretation is sure.”

² “Behold, I will make Jerusalem ^(A)a cup of ^[a]drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples, when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem. ^3 (B)And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem ^(C)a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it. ⁴ In that day,” says the Lord, ^(D)“I will strike every horse with confusion, and its rider with madness; I will open My eyes on the house of Judah, and will strike every horse of the peoples with blindness.

^35 (A)Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold were crushed together, and became ^(B)like chaff from the summer threshing floors; the wind carried them away so that ^(C)no trace of them was found. And the stone that struck the image ^(D)became a great mountain ^(E)and filled the whole earth.

² Then people will take them ^(A)and bring them to their place, and the house of Israel will possess them for servants and maids in the land of the Lord; they will take them captive whose captives they were, ^(B)and rule over their oppressors.

²⁶ And he who overcomes, and keeps ^(A)My works until the end, ^(B)to him I will give power over the nations—

as I also have received from My Father;

²⁷ But bring here those enemies of mine, who did not want me to reign over them, and slay them before me.’ ”
