⁸ For ^(A)the moth will eat them up like a garment,
And the worm will eat them like wool;
But My righteousness will be forever,
And My salvation from generation to generation.”

^6 (A)Lift up your eyes to the heavens,
And look on the earth beneath.
For ^(B)the heavens will vanish away like smoke,
^(C)The earth will grow old like a garment,
And those who dwell in it will die in like manner;
But My salvation will be ^(D)forever,
And My righteousness will not be ^[a]abolished.

⁹ Surely the Lord God will help Me;
Who is he who will condemn Me?
^(A)Indeed they will all grow old like a garment;
^(B)The moth will eat them up.

⁵⁰ And ^(A)His mercy is on those who fear Him
From generation to generation.

¹² Therefore I will be to Ephraim like a moth,
And to the house of Judah ^(A)like rottenness.

^13 (A)I bring My righteousness near, it shall not be far off;
My salvation ^(B)shall not ^[a]linger.
And I will place ^(C)salvation in Zion,
For Israel My glory.

^17 (A)But Israel shall be saved by the Lord
With an ^(B)everlasting salvation;
You shall not be ashamed or ^(C)disgraced
Forever and ever.
