    even when you turn gray I will carry you.
I have made, and I will bear;

    O God, do not forsake me,
until I proclaim your might

our God forever and ever.
    He will be our guide forever.^(A)

¹⁴ In old age they still produce fruit;
    they are always green and full of sap,^(A)

²⁶ They will perish, but you endure;
    they will all wear out like a garment.
You change them like clothing, and they pass away,^(A)
27     but you are the same, and your years have no end.^(B)

¹² like a cloak you will roll them up,
    and like clothing^[a] they will be changed.
