¹⁵ Even the nations are like a drop from a bucket
    and are accounted as dust on the scales;
    see, he takes up the isles like fine dust.^(A)

¹⁰ But the Lord is the true God;
    he is the living God and the everlasting King.
At his wrath the earth quakes,
    and the nations cannot endure his indignation.^[a](A)

²² It is he who sits above the circle of the earth,
    and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers,
who stretches out the heavens like a curtain
    and spreads them like a tent to live in,^(A)

¹⁴ If he should take back his spirit^[a] to himself
    and gather to himself his breath,^(A)
15 all flesh would perish together,
    and all mortals return to dust.^(B)

¹⁸ According to their deeds, so will he repay
    wrath to his adversaries, requital to his enemies;
    to the coastlands he will render requital.^(A)

¹¹ The Lord will be terrible against them;
    he will shrivel all the gods of the earth,
and to him shall bow down
    each in its place,
    all the coasts and islands of the nations.^(A)
