^13 (A)Who has measured^[a] the Spirit of the Lord,
    or what man shows him his counsel?
¹⁴ Whom did he consult,
    and who made him understand?
^(B)Who taught him the path of justice,
    and taught him knowledge,
    and showed him the way of understanding?
¹⁵ Behold, the nations are like a drop from a bucket,
    and are accounted ^(C)as the dust on the scales;
    behold, he takes up ^(D)the coastlands like fine dust.
¹⁶ Lebanon would not suffice for fuel,
    nor are ^(E)its beasts enough for a burnt offering.
^17 (F)All the nations are as nothing before him,
    they are accounted by him as less than nothing and emptiness.

³² For he is not a man, as I am, that I might answer him,
    that we should ^(A)come to trial together.
^33 (B)There is no^[a] arbiter between us,
    who might lay his hand on us both.

^5 (A)Who is like the Lord our God,
    who is seated on high,
⁶ who ^(B)looks far down
    on the heavens and the earth?

^{2     (A)}Serve the Lord with gladness!
    ^(B)Come into his presence with singing!

^7 (A)If you are righteous, what do you give to him?
    Or what does he receive from your hand?
⁸ Your wickedness concerns a man like yourself,
    and your righteousness ^(B)a son of man.
