4 ^(A)And seven women ^(B)shall take hold of ^(C)one man in that day, saying, “We will eat our own bread and wear our own clothes, only let us be called by your name; ^(D)take away our reproach.”

²³ She conceived and bore a son and said, “God has taken away ^(A)my reproach.”

²² for these are ^(A)days of ^(B)vengeance, to fulfill ^(C)all that is written.

²⁵ “Thus the Lord has done for me in the days when he looked on me, ^(A)to take away my reproach among people.”

^7 (A)In that day man will look to his Maker, and his eyes will look on the Holy One of Israel.

¹² Now such persons we command and encourage in the Lord Jesus Christ to do their work quietly and to earn their own living.^[a]

The Remnant of Israel Will Return

^20 (A)In that day ^(B)the remnant of Israel and the survivors of the house of Jacob will no more ^(C)lean on him who struck them, but ^(D)will lean on the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, in truth.
