¹² Her nobles will have nothing there to be called a kingdom,
    all her princes^(A) will vanish^(B) away.

²⁴ But you are less than nothing^(A)
    and your works are utterly worthless;^(B)
    whoever chooses you is detestable.^(C)

¹¹ “All who rage^(A) against you
    will surely be ashamed and disgraced;^(B)
those who oppose^(C) you
    will be as nothing and perish.^(D)
12 Though you search for your enemies,
    you will not find them.^(E)
Those who wage war against you
    will be as nothing^(F) at all.

⁶ A man will seize one of his brothers
    in his father’s house, and say,
“You have a cloak, you be our leader;
    take charge of this heap of ruins!”
⁷ But in that day^(A) he will cry out,
    “I have no remedy.^(B)
I have no food^(C) or clothing in my house;
    do not make me the leader of the people.”^(D)

⁸ Jerusalem staggers,
    Judah is falling;^(E)
their words^(F) and deeds^(G) are against the Lord,
    defying^(H) his glorious presence.
