¹⁰ “Then ^(A)you shall break ^(B)the flask in the sight of the men who go with you, ¹¹ and shall say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts: So will I break this people and this city, ^(C)as one breaks a potter's vessel, ^(D)so that it can never be mended. ^(E)Men shall bury in Topheth because there will be no place else to bury.

²⁷ and ^(A)he will ^(B)rule^[a] them with a rod of iron, ^(C)as when earthen pots are broken in pieces, even as I myself have received authority from my Father.

⁴ For if God did not spare ^(A)angels when they sinned, but ^(B)cast them into hell^[a] and committed them to chains^[b] of gloomy darkness ^(C)to be kept until the judgment; ⁵ if he did not spare the ancient world, but ^(D)preserved Noah, a herald of righteousness, with seven others, when he brought ^(E)a flood upon the world of the ungodly;

²¹ For if God did not spare the natural branches, neither will he spare you.

^32 (A)He who did not spare his own Son but ^(B)gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?

² for ^(A)forty days, ^(B)being tempted by the devil. ^(C)And he ate nothing during those days. And when they were ended, ^(D)he was hungry.

^14 (A)I am the Lord. I have spoken; it shall come to pass; I will do it. I will not go back; ^(B)I will not spare; ^(C)I will not relent; ^(D)according to your ways and your deeds you will be judged, declares the Lord God.”
