¹⁸ having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the ^(A)blindness of their heart;

⁷ Because ^(A)the ^[a]carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, ^(B)nor indeed can be.

³⁰ backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

²⁸ And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things ^(A)which are not fitting;

^23 (A)He who hates Me hates My Father also. ²⁴ If I had not done among them ^(B)the works which no one else did, they would have no sin; but now they have ^(C)seen and also hated both Me and My Father.
