11 Woe to the wicked!(A)
    Disaster(B) is upon them!
They will be paid back(C)
    for what their hands have done.(D)

12 Youths(E) oppress my people,
    women rule over them.
My people, your guides lead you astray;(F)
    they turn you from the path.

13 The Lord takes his place in court;(G)
    he rises to judge(H) the people.
14 The Lord enters into judgment(I)
    against the elders and leaders of his people:
“It is you who have ruined my vineyard;
    the plunder(J) from the poor(K) is in your houses.
15 What do you mean by crushing my people(L)
    and grinding(M) the faces of the poor?”(N)
declares the Lord, the Lord Almighty.(O)

For the reward of his hands shall be [a]given him.
12 As for My people, children are their oppressors,
And women rule over them.
O My people! (B)Those who lead you [b]cause you to err,
And destroy the way of your paths.”

Oppression and Luxury Condemned

13 The Lord stands up (C)to [c]plead,
And stands to judge the people.
14 The Lord will enter into judgment
With the elders of His people
And His princes:
“For you have [d]eaten up (D)the vineyard;
The plunder of the poor is in your houses.
15 What do you mean by (E)crushing My people
And grinding the faces of the poor?”
Says the Lord God of hosts.
