And distress her,
Shall be (B)as a dream of a night vision.

11 (A)Now also many nations have gathered against you,
Who say, “Let her be defiled,
And let our eye (B)look upon Zion.”

For He will gather them (D)like sheaves to the threshing floor.

and will go out (A)to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, (B)Gog and Magog, (C)to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea. (D)They went up on the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. And fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them.

12 And this shall be the plague with which the Lord will strike all the people who fought against Jerusalem:

Their flesh shall [a]dissolve while they stand on their feet,
Their eyes shall dissolve in their sockets,
And their tongues shall dissolve in their mouths.

13 It shall come to pass in that day
That (A)a great panic from the Lord will be among them.
Everyone will seize the hand of his neighbor,
And raise (B)his hand against his neighbor’s hand;
14 Judah also will fight at Jerusalem.
(C)And the wealth of all the surrounding nations
Shall be gathered together:
Gold, silver, and apparel in great abundance.

15 (D)Such also shall be the plague
On the horse and the mule,
On the camel and the donkey,
And on all the cattle that will be in those camps.
So shall this plague be.

(A)And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem (B)a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it. In that day,” says the Lord, (C)“I will strike every horse with confusion, and its rider with madness; I will open My eyes on the house of Judah, and will strike every horse of the peoples with blindness. And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, ‘The inhabitants of Jerusalem are my strength in the Lord of hosts, their God.’

The Day of the Lord(A)

14 Behold, (B)the day of the Lord is coming,
And your [a]spoil will be divided in your midst.
For (C)I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem;
The city shall be taken,
The houses [b]rifled,
And the women ravished.
Half of the city shall go into captivity,
But the remnant of the people shall not be cut off from the city.

Then the Lord will go forth
And fight against those nations,
As He fights in the day of battle.

  2. Zechariah 14:2 Or plundered

The Lord is (A)slow to anger and (B)great in power,
And will not at all acquit the wicked.

(C)The Lord has His way
In the whirlwind and in the storm,
And the clouds are the dust of His feet.
(D)He rebukes the sea and makes it dry,
And dries up all the rivers.
(E)Bashan and Carmel wither,
And the flower of Lebanon wilts.
The mountains quake before Him,
The hills melt,
And the earth [a]heaves at His presence,
Yes, the world and all who dwell in it.

Who can stand before His indignation?
And (F)who can endure the fierceness of His anger?
His fury is poured out like fire,
And the rocks are thrown down by Him.

(G)The Lord is good,
A stronghold in the day of trouble;
And (H)He knows those who trust in Him.
But with an overflowing flood
He will make an utter end of its place,
And darkness will pursue His enemies.

(I)What do you [b]conspire against the Lord?
(J)He will make an utter end of it.
Affliction will not rise up a second time.
10 For while tangled (K)like thorns,
(L)And while drunken like drunkards,
(M)They shall be devoured like stubble fully dried.
11 From you comes forth one
Who plots evil against the Lord,
A [c]wicked counselor.

12 Thus says the Lord:

“Though they are [d]safe, and likewise many,
Yet in this manner they will be (N)cut down
When he passes through.
Though I have afflicted you,
I will afflict you no more;
