Isaiah 2:13
English Standard Version
13 against all the (A)cedars of Lebanon,
lofty and lifted up;
and against all the (B)oaks of Bashan;
Zechariah 11:1-2
English Standard Version
The Flock Doomed to Slaughter
11 Open your doors, (A)O Lebanon,
that the fire may devour your cedars!
2 Wail, O cypress, for the cedar has fallen,
for the glorious trees are ruined!
Wail, (B)oaks of Bashan,
for the thick forest has been felled!
Isaiah 14:8
English Standard Version
8 (A)(B)The cypresses rejoice at you,
(C)the cedars of Lebanon, saying,
‘Since you were laid low,
no woodcutter comes up against us.’
Amos 2:5
English Standard Version
5 So (A)I will send a fire upon Judah,
and it shall devour the strongholds of Jerusalem.”
Ezekiel 31:3-12
English Standard Version
3 Behold, (A)Assyria was a (B)cedar in (C)Lebanon,
with beautiful branches and (D)forest shade,
(E)and of towering height,
its top among the clouds.[a]
4 The waters nourished it;
the deep made it grow tall,
making (F)its rivers flow
around the place of its planting,
sending forth its streams
to all the trees of the field.
5 So (G)it towered high
above all the trees of the field;
its boughs grew large
and its branches long
from (H)abundant water in its shoots.
6 (I)All the birds of the heavens
made their nests in its boughs;
under its branches all the beasts of the field
gave birth to their young,
and under its shadow
lived all great nations.
7 It was (J)beautiful in its greatness,
in the length of its branches;
(K)for its roots went down
to abundant waters.
8 (L)The cedars (M)in the garden of God could not rival it,
nor the fir trees equal its boughs;
neither were the plane trees
like its branches;
no tree (N)in the garden of God
was its equal in beauty.
9 I made it beautiful
in the mass of its branches,
and all the trees of (O)Eden envied it,
that were in the garden of God.
10 “Therefore thus says the Lord God: Because (P)it[b] towered high and set its top among the clouds,[c] and (Q)its heart was proud of its height, 11 I will give it into the hand of a mighty one of the nations. He shall surely deal with it as its wickedness deserves. I have cast it out. 12 (R)Foreigners, (S)the most ruthless of nations, have cut it down and left it. (T)On the mountains and in all the valleys its branches have fallen, and its boughs have been broken in all (U)the ravines of the land, and (V)all the peoples of the earth have gone away from its shadow and left it.

English Standard Version
24 By your servants you have mocked the Lord,
and you have said, (A)With my many chariots
I have gone up the heights of the mountains,
to the far recesses of Lebanon,
(B)to cut down its tallest cedars,
its choicest cypresses,
to come to its remotest height,
its most fruitful forest.
Isaiah 10:33-34
English Standard Version
33 Behold, the Lord God of hosts
(A)will lop (B)the boughs with terrifying power;
the great in height will be hewn down,
and the lofty will be brought low.
34 He will cut down (C)the thickets of the forest with an axe,
and (D)Lebanon will fall by the Majestic One.
