²⁴ How then will you repel one captain of the least of my master’s servants, and put your trust in Egypt for chariots and horsemen?

¹⁰ “Thus you shall speak to Hezekiah king of Judah, saying: ‘Do not let your God ^(A)in whom you trust deceive you, saying, “Jerusalem shall not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.”

^37 (A)You, O king, are a king of kings. ^(B)For the God of heaven has given you a kingdom, power, strength, and glory;

⁷ “For thus says the Lord God: ‘Behold, I will bring against Tyre from the north ^(A)Nebuchadnezzar^[a] king of Babylon, ^(B)king of kings, with horses, with chariots, and with horsemen, and an army with many people.

⁸ Now therefore, I urge you, give a pledge to my master the king of Assyria, and I will give you two thousand horses—if you are able on your part to put riders on them!
