Judecată şi mântuire
65 „M-am făcut cunoscut celor ce nu întrebau de Mine;
am fost găsit de cei ce nu Mă căutau.
Am zis: «Iată-Mă, iată-Mă!»
unui neam care nu chema Numele Meu[a].
2 Toată ziua Mi-am întins mâinile
către un popor neascultător,
care umblă pe o cale care nu este bună,
în voia gândurilor lui;
3 către un popor care nu conteneşte să Mă provoace
pe faţă,
aducând jertfe în grădini
şi arzând tămâie pe altare din cărămidă;
4 care stă în morminte
şi-şi petrece noaptea în locuri tainice;
care mănâncă carne de porc
şi are bucate necurate în vasele lui;
5 care zice: «Stai deoparte!
Nu te apropia de mine, căci sunt prea sfânt pentru tine!»
Aceste lucruri sunt un fum în nările Mele,
un foc care arde toată ziua.
6 Iată, stă scris înaintea Mea:
«Nu voi tăcea, ci voi răsplăti pe deplin;
voi pune o răsplată deplină în poala lor,
7 atât pentru nedreptăţile lor, cât şi pentru ale părinţilor lor»“,
zice Domnul.
Pentru că au ars tămâie pe munţi,
şi M-au sfidat pe dealuri,
voi măsura în poala lor
o răsplată deplină pentru faptele lor din trecut.“
8 „Aşa vorbeşte Domnul:
«După cum se mai găseşte suc într-un ciorchine,
iar cineva spune: ‘Nu-l distruge,
căci încă se mai află ceva bun în el!’,
tot aşa voi face şi Eu de dragul robilor Mei:
nu-i voi nimici pe toţi.
9 Voi face să iasă o sămânţă[b] din Iacov
şi din Iuda un moştenitor al munţilor Mei!
Aleşii Mei îi vor moşteni
şi robii Mei vor locui acolo.
10 Şaronul va fi păşune pentru turme,
iar valea Acor – un loc de odihnă pentru cirezi,
pentru poporul care Mă caută.
11 Cât despre voi, care-L părăsiţi pe Domnul,
care uitaţi de muntele Meu cel sfânt,
care întindeţi o masă ‘Norocului’[c]
şi umpleţi o cupă de vin amestecat în cinstea ‘Destinului’[d],
12 vă voi destina sabiei.
Toţi vă veţi pleca pentru înjunghiere,
pentru că, atunci când am chemat, nu aţi răspuns,
când am vorbit, nu aţi ascultat,
ci aţi făcut ce era rău înaintea Mea
şi aţi ales ceea ce nu-Mi era plăcut.»“
13 „De aceea aşa vorbeşte Stăpânul Domn:
«Iată! Robii Mei vor mânca,
însă voi veţi flămânzi.
Iată! Robii Mei vor bea,
însă voi veţi înseta.
Iată! Robii Mei se vor bucura,
însă voi veţi fi făcuţi de ruşine.
14 Iată! Robii Mei vor chiui dintr-o inimă veselă,
însă voi veţi ţipa dintr-o inimă îndurerată
şi vă veţi văita dintr-un duh zdrobit.
15 Vă veţi lăsa numele ca un blestem aleşilor Mei
şi Stăpânul Domn vă va omorî,
iar robilor Săi le va da un alt nume.
16 Oricine va rosti o binecuvântare în ţară,
va rosti o binecuvântare prin Dumnezeul adevărului
şi oricine va jura în ţară,
va jura pe Dumnezeul adevărului,
pentru că necazurile de dinainte sunt uitate
şi ascunse de ochii Mei.
Ceruri noi şi un pământ nou
17 Căci iată, creez ceruri noi
şi un pământ nou!
Lucrurile de dinainte nu vor mai fi amintite
şi nu vor mai reveni în mintea nimănui.
18 Prin urmare, bucuraţi-vă şi veseliţi-vă pentru totdeauna
de ceea ce creez,
căci iată, creez Ierusalimul pentru a fi o veselie
şi poporul lui, o bucurie.
19 Mă voi bucura de Ierusalim
şi mă voi veseli de poporul Meu.
Nu se va mai auzi în el nici plâns
şi nici ţipăt,
20 nu va mai fi acolo
nici un sugar care să trăiască doar câteva zile
şi nici un bătrân care să nu-şi împlinească zilele.
Cel care va muri la o sută de ani
va fi considerat tânăr[e]
şi cel care nu va ajunge[f] suta de ani
va fi considerat blestemat.
21 Îşi vor construi case şi vor locui în ele;
vor planta vii şi vor mânca rodul lor.
22 Ei nu vor mai zidi case ca alţii să locuiască în ele,
nu vor mai planta ca alţii să mănânce,
căci, precum zilele unui copac,
aşa vor fi şi zilele poporului Meu,
iar aleşii Mei se vor bucura pe deplin
de lucrul mâinilor lor.
23 Ei nu vor trudi în van,
nici nu vor naşte copii sortiţi pieirii,
căci vor fi o sămânţă binecuvântată de Domnul,
ei şi urmaşii lor.
24 Înainte ca ei să Mă cheme, Eu le voi răspunde,
înainte să termine de vorbit, Eu îi voi auzi!
25 Lupul şi mielul vor paşte împreună,
leul va mânca paie ca boul,
iar hrana şarpelui va fi ţărâna!
Ei nu vor face rău, nici nu vor distruge ceva
pe întregul Meu munte sfânt,
zice Domnul.»“

- Isaia 65:9 Termenul ebraic pentru sămânţă este un singular care se poate referi atât la un singur urmaş, cât şi la toţi urmaşii de pe linia genealogică a unei persoane (colectiv). Este foarte probabil ca în cele mai multe cazuri termenul să exprime o ambiguitate intenţionată. În traducerea de faţă a fost redat fie literal, fie cu urmaş sau urmaşi, în funcţie de contextul literal şi de cel teologic. The Lord’s Response
65 “I was sought by those who did not ask;[a]
I was found by those who did not seek Me.
I said: Here I am, here I am,
to a nation that was not called by[b] My name.(A)
2 I spread out My hands all day long
to a rebellious people(B)
who walk in the wrong path,
following their own thoughts.
3 These people continually provoke Me
to My face,
sacrificing in gardens,(C)
burning incense on bricks,
4 sitting among the graves,
spending nights in secret places,
eating the meat of pigs,(D)
and putting polluted broth in their bowls.[c]
5 They say, ‘Keep to yourself,
don’t come near me, for I am too holy for you!’
These practices are smoke in My nostrils,
a fire that burns all day long.
6 It is written before Me:
I will not keep silent,(E) but I will repay;(F)
I will repay them fully[d]
7 for your iniquities and the iniquities(G)
of your[e] fathers together,”
says the Lord.
“Because they burned incense on the mountains
and reproached Me on the hills,(H)
I will reward them fully[f]
for their former deeds.”
8 The Lord says this:
As the new wine is found in a bunch of grapes,
and one says, ‘Don’t destroy it,
for there’s some good[g] in it,’
so I will act because of My servants
and not destroy them all.
9 I will produce descendants from Jacob,(I)
and heirs to My mountains from Judah;
My chosen(J) ones will possess it,
and My servants will dwell there.(K)
10 Sharon will be a pasture for flocks,(L)
and the Valley of Achor a place for cattle to lie down,(M)
for My people who have sought Me.(N)
11 But you who abandon the Lord,
who forget My holy mountain,
who prepare a table for Fortune
and fill bowls of mixed wine for Destiny,[h]
12 I will destine you for the sword,
and all of you will kneel down to be slaughtered,
because I called and you did not answer,
I spoke and you did not hear;
you did what was evil in My sight
and chose what I did not delight in.(O)
13 Therefore, this is what the Lord God says:
My servants will eat,
but you will be hungry;
My servants will drink,
but you will be thirsty;
My servants will rejoice,
but you will be put to shame.
14 My servants will shout for joy from a glad heart,
but you will cry out from an anguished heart,
and you will lament out of a broken spirit.
15 You will leave your name behind
as a curse for My chosen ones,(P)
and the Lord God will kill you;
but He will give His servants another name.(Q)
16 Whoever is blessed in the land
will be blessed by the God of truth,(R)
and whoever swears in the land
will swear by the God of truth.
For the former troubles will be forgotten
and hidden from My sight.
A New Creation
17 “For I will create a new heaven and a new earth;(S)
the past events will not be remembered or come to mind.
18 Then be glad and rejoice forever
in what I am creating;
for I will create Jerusalem to be a joy
and its people to be a delight.
19 I will rejoice in Jerusalem
and be glad in My people.
The sound of weeping and crying
will no longer be heard in her.(T)
20 In her, a nursing infant will no longer live
only a few days,[i]
or an old man not live out his days.
Indeed, the youth will die at a hundred years,
and the one who misses a hundred years will be cursed.(U)
21 People will build houses and live in them;
they will plant vineyards and eat their fruit.(V)
22 They will not build and others live in them;
they will not plant and others eat.
For My people’s lives will be
like the lifetime of a tree.(W)
My chosen ones will fully enjoy
the work of their hands.
23 They will not labor without success(X)
or bear children destined for disaster,
for they will be a people blessed by the Lord
along with their descendants.(Y)
24 Even before they call, I will answer;(Z)
while they are still speaking, I will hear.
25 The wolf and the lamb will feed together,[j]
and the lion will eat straw like the ox,(AA)
but the serpent’s food will be dust!(AB)
They will not do what is evil or destroy
on My entire holy mountain,”(AC)
says the Lord.
