Anuncio de liberación a Jerusalén
52 Despierta, Sión, despierta,
ármate de fuerza;
Jerusalén, ciudad santa,
vístete tu ropa más elegante,
porque los paganos, gente impura,
no volverán a entrar en ti.
2 Levántate, Jerusalén,
sacúdete el polvo,
siéntate en el trono.
Sión, joven prisionera,
quítate ya el yugo del cuello.
3 El Señor dice:
«Ni un centavo recibí
cuando ustedes fueron llevados como esclavos;
pues ni un centavo daré
ahora que yo los rescate.
4 Al principio mi pueblo fue a Egipto
y vivió allí como extranjero;
después Asiria lo oprimió sin motivo.
5 Y ahora, ¿qué es lo que veo?
Sin motivo se han llevado mi pueblo a Babilonia.
Quienes lo dominan, gritan orgullosos
y me ofenden sin cesar.
6 Pero vendrá el día en que mi pueblo reconozca
y sepa que yo, que le he hablado, soy el Señor.»
7 ¡Qué hermoso es ver llegar por las colinas
al que trae buenas noticias,
al que trae noticias de paz,
al que anuncia la liberación
y dice a Sión: «Tu Dios es rey»!
8 ¡Escucha! Tus centinelas levantan la voz
y a una dan gritos de triunfo,
porque ven con sus propios ojos
cómo vuelve el Señor a Sión.
9 ¡Estallen en gritos de triunfo,
ruinas de Jerusalén,
porque el Señor ha tenido compasión de su pueblo,
ha liberado a Jerusalén!
10 El Señor ha mostrado su poder
a la vista de todas las naciones.
Por toda la tierra se sabrá
que nuestro Dios nos ha salvado.
11 ¡Salgan, salgan ya de Babilonia,
no toquen nada impuro,
salgan ya de Babilonia!
¡Consérvense limpios
los que transportan los utensilios del Señor!
12 Pero no tendrán que salir a toda prisa,
no tendrán que salir huyendo,
porque el Señor, el Dios de Israel,
los protegerá por todos lados.
Sufrimientos y triunfo del siervo del Señor
13 Mi siervo tendrá éxito,
será levantado y puesto muy alto.
14 Así como muchos se asombraron de él,
al ver su semblante, tan desfigurado
que había perdido toda apariencia humana,
15 así también muchas naciones se quedarán admiradas;
los reyes, al verlo, no podrán decir palabra,
porque verán y entenderán
algo que nunca habían oído.

Liberazione di Gerusalemme
52 Svegliati, svegliati,
rivestiti della tua magnificenza, Sion;
indossa le vesti più belle,
Gerusalemme, città santa;
perché mai più entrerà in te
il non circonciso né l'impuro.
2 Scuotiti la polvere, alzati, Gerusalemme schiava!
Sciogliti dal collo i legami, schiava figlia di Sion!
3 Poiché dice il Signore: «Senza prezzo foste venduti e sarete riscattati senza denaro».
4 Poiché dice il Signore Dio: «In Egitto è sceso il mio popolo un tempo per abitarvi come straniero; poi l'Assiro senza motivo lo ha oppresso. 5 Ora, che faccio io qui? - oracolo del Signore - Sì, il mio popolo è stato deportato per nulla! I suoi dominatori trionfavano - oracolo del Signore - e sempre, tutti i giorni il mio nome è stato disprezzato. 6 Pertanto il mio popolo conoscerà il mio nome, comprenderà in quel giorno che io dicevo: Eccomi qua».
Annuncio della salvezza
7 Come sono belli sui monti
i piedi del messaggero di lieti annunzi
che annunzia la pace,
messaggero di bene che annunzia la salvezza,
che dice a Sion: «Regna il tuo Dio».
8 Senti? Le tue sentinelle alzano la voce,
insieme gridano di gioia,
poiché vedono con gli occhi
il ritorno del Signore in Sion.
9 Prorompete insieme in canti di gioia,
rovine di Gerusalemme,
perché il Signore ha consolato il suo popolo,
ha riscattato Gerusalemme.
10 Il Signore ha snudato il suo santo braccio
davanti a tutti i popoli;
tutti i confini della terra vedranno
la salvezza del nostro Dio.
11 Fuori, fuori, uscite di là!
Non toccate niente d'impuro.
Uscite da essa, purificatevi,
voi che portate gli arredi del Signore!
12 Voi non dovrete uscire in fretta
né andarvene come uno che fugge,
perché davanti a voi cammina il Signore,
il Dio di Israele chiude la vostra carovana.
Quarto canto del servo del Signore
13 Ecco, il mio servo avrà successo,
sarà onorato, esaltato e molto innalzato.
14 Come molti si stupirono di lui
- tanto era sfigurato per essere d'uomo il suo aspetto
e diversa la sua forma da quella dei figli dell'uomo -
15 così si meraviglieranno di lui molte genti;
i re davanti a lui si chiuderanno la bocca,
poiché vedranno un fatto mai ad essi raccontato
e comprenderanno ciò che mai avevano udito.

clothe yourself with strength!(B)
Put on your garments of splendor,(C)
Jerusalem, the holy city.(D)
The uncircumcised(E) and defiled(F)
will not enter you again.(G)
2 Shake off your dust;(H)
rise up,(I) sit enthroned, Jerusalem.
Free yourself from the chains on your neck,(J)
Daughter Zion,(K) now a captive.
3 For this is what the Lord says:
4 For this is what the Sovereign Lord says:
5 “And now what do I have here?” declares the Lord.
“For my people have been taken away for nothing,
and those who rule them mock,[a]”
declares the Lord.
“And all day long
my name is constantly blasphemed.(Q)
6 Therefore my people will know(R) my name;(S)
therefore in that day(T) they will know
that it is I who foretold(U) it.
Yes, it is I.”
7 How beautiful on the mountains(V)
are the feet of those who bring good news,(W)
who proclaim peace,(X)
who bring good tidings,
who proclaim salvation,
who say to Zion,
“Your God reigns!”(Y)
8 Listen! Your watchmen(Z) lift up their voices;(AA)
together they shout for joy.(AB)
When the Lord returns(AC) to Zion,(AD)
they will see it with their own eyes.
9 Burst into songs of joy(AE) together,
you ruins(AF) of Jerusalem,
for the Lord has comforted(AG) his people,
he has redeemed Jerusalem.(AH)
10 The Lord will lay bare his holy arm(AI)
in the sight of all the nations,(AJ)
and all the ends of the earth(AK) will see
the salvation(AL) of our God.
11 Depart,(AM) depart, go out from there!
Touch no unclean thing!(AN)
Come out from it and be pure,(AO)
you who carry the articles(AP) of the Lord’s house.
12 But you will not leave in haste(AQ)
or go in flight;
for the Lord will go before you,(AR)
the God of Israel will be your rear guard.(AS)
The Suffering and Glory of the Servant
13 See, my servant(AT) will act wisely[b];
he will be raised and lifted up and highly exalted.(AU)
14 Just as there were many who were appalled(AV) at him[c]—
his appearance was so disfigured(AW) beyond that of any human being
and his form marred beyond human likeness(AX)—
15 so he will sprinkle(AY) many nations,[d]
and kings(AZ) will shut their mouths(BA) because of him.
For what they were not told, they will see,
and what they have not heard, they will understand.(BB)
