20 ‘Reúnanse y acérquense.
Hay gente ignorante
que carga ídolos de madera
y ora a dioses que no pueden salvar.
’Esa gente no entiende nada.
21 Vamos ante el juez,
para ver si pueden responderme:
¿Quién anunció estas cosas
mucho antes de que sucedieran?
Fui yo, el único Dios,
y no hay otro dios fuera de mí.
Sólo yo tengo el poder
para ofrecer justicia y salvación.
22 ’Vengan a mí todos los pueblos
que habitan en lugares lejanos.
Yo los salvaré,
porque yo soy Dios y no hay otro.

20 “Gather together(A) and come;
assemble, you fugitives from the nations.
Ignorant(B) are those who carry(C) about idols of wood,
who pray to gods that cannot save.(D)
21 Declare what is to be, present it—
let them take counsel together.
Who foretold(E) this long ago,
who declared it from the distant past?(F)
Was it not I, the Lord?
And there is no God apart from me,(G)
a righteous God(H) and a Savior;(I)
there is none but me.

20 “Assemble yourselves and come;
Draw near together,
You who have escaped from the nations.
(A)They have no knowledge,
Who carry the wood of their carved image,
And pray to a god that cannot save.
21 Tell and bring forth your case;
Yes, let them take counsel together.
(B)Who has declared this from ancient time?
Who has told it from that time?
Have not I, the Lord?
(C)And there is no other God besides Me,
A just God and a Savior;
There is none besides Me.
22 “Look to Me, and be saved,
(D)All you ends of the earth!
For I am God, and there is no other.
