Isaiah 5:29-30

New International Version

²⁹ Their roar is like that of the lion,^(A)
    they roar like young lions;
they growl as they seize^(B) their prey
    and carry it off with no one to rescue.^(C)
30 In that day^(D) they will roar over it
    like the roaring of the sea.^(E)
And if one looks at the land,
    there is only darkness^(F) and distress;^(G)
    even the sun will be darkened^(H) by clouds.
