¹⁴ then you shall take delight in the Lord,
    and I will make you ride upon the heights of the earth;
I will feed you with the heritage of your ancestor Jacob,
    for the mouth of the Lord has spoken.^(A)

¹³ He set him atop the heights of the land
    and fed him with^[a] produce of the field;
he nursed him with honey from the crags,
    with oil from flinty rock,^(A)

²⁶ then you will delight yourself in the Almighty^[a]
    and lift up your face to God.^(A)

¹⁸ yet I will rejoice in the Lord;
    I will exult in the God of my salvation.^(A)
19 God, the Lord, is my strength;
    he makes my feet like the feet of a deer
    and makes me tread upon the heights.^[a]

¹⁹ If you are willing and obedient,
    you shall eat the good of the land,^(A)
20 but if you refuse and rebel,
    you shall be devoured by the sword,
    for the mouth of the Lord has spoken.^(B)
