43 But now, this is what the Lord says—
    he who created^(A) you, Jacob,
    he who formed^(B) you, Israel:^(C)
“Do not fear, for I have redeemed^(D) you;
    I have summoned you by name;^(E) you are mine.^(F)

⁹ This third I will put into the fire;^(A)
    I will refine them like silver^(B)
    and test them like gold.^(C)
They will call^(D) on my name^(E)
    and I will answer^(F) them;
I will say, ‘They are my people,’^(G)
    and they will say, ‘The Lord is our God.^(H)’”

⁷ everyone who is called by my name,^(A)
    whom I created^(B) for my glory,^(C)
    whom I formed and made.^(D)”

³ Know that the Lord is God.^(A)
    It is he who made us,^(B) and we are his^[a];
    we are his people,^(C) the sheep of his pasture.^(D)
