    and to whom will he explain the message?
Those who are weaned from milk,
    those taken from the breast?^(A)

¹⁰ To whom shall I speak and give warning,
    that they may hear?
See, their ears are closed;^[a]
    they cannot listen.
The word of the Lord is to them an object of scorn;
    they take no pleasure in it.^(A)

“Lord, who has believed our message,
    and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?”^(A)

‘Out of the mouths of infants and nursing babies
    you have prepared praise for yourself’?”^(B)
