²⁰ Come, my people, ^(A)enter your chambers,
And shut your doors behind you;
Hide yourself, as it were, ^(B)for a little moment,
Until the indignation is past.

^4 (A)He shall cover you with His feathers,
And under His wings you shall take refuge;
His truth shall be your shield and ^[a]buckler.

⁵ For ^(A)His anger is but for a moment,
^(B)His favor is for life;
Weeping may endure for a night,
But ^[a]joy comes in the morning.

⁷ “For^(A) a mere moment I have forsaken you,
But with great mercies ^(B)I will gather you.
⁸ With a little wrath I hid My face from you for a moment;
^(C)But with everlasting kindness I will have mercy on you,”
Says the Lord, your Redeemer.

91 He ^(A)who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide ^(B)under the shadow of the Almighty.
