⁶ And the ^(P)wolf will dwell with the lamb,
And the leopard will lie down with the young goat,
And the calf and the young lion ^[a]and the fattened steer will be together;
And a little boy will lead them.
⁷ Also the cow and the bear will graze,
Their young will lie down together,
And the ^(Q)lion will eat straw like the ox.
⁸ The nursing child will play by the hole of the cobra,
And the weaned child will put his hand on the viper’s den.
⁹ They will ^(R)not hurt or destroy in all My holy mountain,
For the ^(S)earth will be full of the knowledge of the Lord
As the waters cover the sea.

¹⁰ Then on that day
The ^(T)nations will resort to the ^(U)root of Jesse,
Who will stand as a ^(V)signal flag for the peoples;
And His ^(W)resting place will be ^[b]glorious.

^16 (A)For those who guide this people are leading them astray;
And those who are guided by them are ^[a]confused.
¹⁷ Therefore the Lord does ^(B)not rejoice over their young men,
^(C)Nor does He have compassion on their ^[b]orphans or their widows;
For every one of them is ^(D)godless and an ^(E)evildoer,
And every ^(F)mouth is speaking foolishness.
^(G)In spite of all this, His anger does not turn away,
And His hand is still stretched out.
