6 (A)Now the Lord of armies will prepare a [a]lavish banquet for (B)all peoples on this mountain;
A banquet of [b]aged wine, [c]choice pieces with marrow,
And [d]refined, aged wine.
7 And on this mountain He will destroy the [e](C)covering which is over all peoples,
The veil which is [f]stretched over all nations.
8 He will [g](D)swallow up death for all time,
And the Lord [h]God will (E)wipe tears away from all faces,
And He will remove the (F)disgrace of His people from all the earth;
For the Lord has spoken.

6 On this mountain(A) the Lord Almighty will prepare
a feast(B) of rich food for all peoples,
a banquet of aged wine—
the best of meats and the finest of wines.(C)
7 On this mountain he will destroy
the shroud(D) that enfolds all peoples,(E)
the sheet that covers all nations;
8 he will swallow up death(F) forever.
The Sovereign Lord will wipe away the tears(G)
from all faces;
he will remove his people’s disgrace(H)
from all the earth.
The Lord has spoken.(I)
