Isaiah 22:19-23

¹⁹I will thrust you from your office, and you will be pulled down from your post.

²⁰“On that day I will call my servant Eliakim son of Hilkiah^(A) ²¹and will clothe him with your robe and bind your sash on him. I will commit your authority to his hand, and he shall be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem and to the house of Judah. ²²I will place on his shoulder the key of the house of David; he shall open, and no one shall shut; he shall shut, and no one shall open.^(B) ²³I will fasten him like a peg in a secure place, and he will become a throne of honor to his ancestral house.^(C)

and you will be ousted^(A) from your position.^(B)

²⁰“In that day^(C) I will summon my servant,^(D) Eliakim^(E) son of Hilkiah. ²¹I will clothe him with your robe and fasten your sash^(F) around him and hand your authority^(G) over to him. He will be a father to those who live in Jerusalem and to the people of Judah. ²²I will place on his shoulder^(H) the key^(I) to the house of David;^(J) what he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open.^(K) ²³I will drive him like a peg^(L) into a firm place;^(M) he will become a seat^[a] of honor^(N) for the house of his father.
