⁷ For ^(A)God has not given us a spirit of fear, ^(B)but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

¹¹ This is a faithful saying:

⁷ and ^(A)the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Meditate on These Things

⁸ Finally, brethren, whatever things are ^(B)true, whatever things are ^(C)noble, whatever things are ^(D)just, ^(E)whatever things are pure, whatever things are ^(F)lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.

² And ^(A)do not be conformed to this world, but ^(B)be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may ^(C)prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
