2 Corinthians 2:6

⁶Sufficient for such a person is ^(A)this punishment which was imposed by the majority,

New International Version

⁶The punishment^(A) inflicted on him by the majority is sufficient.

⁶Sufficient to such a man is this punishment, which was inflicted of many.

⁷so that on the other hand, you should rather ^(A)forgive and comfort him, otherwise such a person might be overwhelmed by excessive sorrow.

⁷Now instead, you ought to forgive and comfort him,^(A) so that he will not be overwhelmed by excessive sorrow.

⁷So that contrariwise ye ought rather to forgive him, and comfort him, lest perhaps such a one should be swallowed up with overmuch sorrow.
